Project Brief
The annual report needed to convey the important impact made by educators, students and researchers as a combined force for change. “Not Me, We.” demonstrates that although individual pursuits make contributions, it is the larger goals of open-minded thinking, sustained scientific research, environmental sustainability and engagement with business and government that promotes real change. An inventive cover that transforms “ME” into “WE” when opened, spacious layouts, large clear headlines and expressive photography of featured individuals interacting pull the reader in, make the content accessible and reinforce the key messages. “This year’s Annual Report [is] the best this office has pulled off in my time here,” said Scott Mcrae, Director of Public Affairs, University of British Columbia.
