Granville Island Stage
Project Brief
The logo evokes the flavour of the theatre’s location with rough, casually set typography and a building motif that depicts the old warehouses that fill much of the island. The vertical arrangement of the type helps evoke the vertical atmosphere created by the Granville bridge that passes high overhead.
Granville Island Stage
The 460-seat Granville Island Stage, opened as the Arts Club Mainstage in 1979, and is now the home base for the company. Each season, the Arts Club puts on six or seven productions there, including musicals, dramas, comedies and new, innovative Canadian works.
